NuBeTech Whatsup is a FREE add-on for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that allows you to setup messages such as greetings or important notifications that will be shown in the Role Center Headline.. You can setup the validity period and the recipients who you want to send the messages to. It is also possible to send a link to another website by using the same Headline setup.

Features and benefits of using this app:

Programmable messages choosing between several validity periods:

• Fixed period, selecting the starting and the ending date during which the message will be shown.
• Weekly: choose the day of the week when the message will be shown.
• Monthly: choose the starting and ending day of the month during which you want to show the message
• Yearly: choose the starting and ending date during which the message will be shown. The validity period can be at turn of the year
• First day of the month: the message will be shown the first day of the month only
• Last day of the month: the message will be shown the last day of the month only

Programmable messages choosing between three recipient types:

• All users: the message will be shown to all the users
• Single user: the message will be shown the user selected in the «Recipient Code» field.User group: the message will be shown to all the users that are present in the user group selected in the «Recipient Code» field
• User group: the message will be shown to the users who belong to the selected user group

How to use NuBeTech WhatsUp application step by step:

• Go to the “Headline Setup List” page
• Click “New” to create a new customized message
• Flag the “Active” field to activate the new message
• Select the Validity Type suitable for your message
• Compile the “Validity Period” tab to fix a period during which the message will be shown
• Select the recipients who you want to send the current message to
• Write the message in the “text Message” field
• Write the URL in case you want to add a link to your message (optional)
